Our Story
Faith Alive Church began in 2001 and started with a small group of people who came together to hear Gods word, pray and receive healing. Since then we have grown, and the vision God gave us has continued to develop. We know that the people of Buckinghamshire are important to God and we are committed to sharing the Good News in Aylesbury and taking it to the surrounding towns and villages. Prayer is also a core part of this ministry as we regularly meet to pray together for our nation.
From all different nations and backgrounds, we have grown as a church into a family who serves and loves the Lord.
Our Leaders
Wendy Preston
After hearing, “Build a base in Buckinghamshire”, in 2001 Founding Pastor Wendy Preston with her husband James planted Faith Alive Church in Aylesbury after previously being involved in the travelling ministry.
Wendy graduated from RHEMA Bible Training Centre in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA in 1988. She was ordained with RHEMA in 1992 and has been involved in many different areas of ministry, but is particularly gifted in the area of prayer and healing.
Wendy’s overwhelming sense of joy, faith and peace in the Lord, and her soothing spirit has helped others to discover the ability to create change in their own lives through faith in the Word of God.
Andrew and Abby Reynolds
Andrew Reynolds serves in the capacity of Pastor at Faith Alive Church. Together with his wife Abby, he oversees operations and the pastoral team, and is involved in all areas of pastoral duties within the church. A thriving local church family growing in the Word and walking in the presence of the Lord with the grace to reach worlds with the Gospel is strong on both Andrew and Abby’s hearts.
Both Andrew and Abby attended Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, USA as well as Rhema School of World Missions. In addition to being involved in supporting roles in churches, they have been involved in various missions projects around the world over the last 25 years.
