Faith Alive Church meets at various regular locations as published in our calendar.  We at Faith Alive Church appreciate that privacy is very important. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is in recognition that people have a right to keep their personal information private. This Privacy Policy covers the treatment of personally identifiable information that any of the Faith Alive Church sites may collect or hold to that is gained by other means. The information you give us may include identifiers such as your name, postal address, e-mail address, phone number, church attended, credit card or financial information, other personal information, description, age and/or photographs. Other information will be required if you are a volunteer, employee.

 

All services (including various other activities) of Faith Alive Church church are recorded / photographed. Images of the people attending or participating in the service (or other activity) may be used and shown in our TV ministry ,resources and for other promotional purposes and commercial activities. By attending any service (or other activity) you agree to Faith Alive Church using your image and personal information in these recordings.

 

In addition the following is automatically collected during a website visit:
i) Technical information, including your Internet protocol (IP) address (used to connect your computer to the Internet), your login information (if appropriate), browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, and operating system and platform; 
ii) Information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL), clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time), page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page and any phone number used to call our offices and staff members.
d) Information we receive from other sources. We may also receive information about you from other websites that we utilise or control, third parties who work closely with us including, for example, business partners, payment and delivery services and search information providers. 
e) If you are an employee or volunteer we may also hold certain categories of sensitive information such as personal financial details, age, gender, marital status, date of birth, full employment and educational history, references, medical and criminal records.
f) We also operate CCTV within and around Faith Alive Church CCTV signs are visible on the premises.
g) Where practicable, the purpose for which we collect personal information will be made clear at the time of collection. If you do not provide us with certain information we may be unable to provide you with certain services or assistance requested.
h) Users can use the church website without revealing who they are or other personal information unless they log on, place an order or register with us. We will not collect any personal information about visitors to the website except when they knowingly provide it.

The legal basis for processing personal data differs depending upon the purpose it was collected for. This includes consent, agreement, for legitimate interests, or for legal reasons.

Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Website or Application.  Faith Alive Church: takes security measures to protect your information from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. Your information will be held for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires.

Payment transactions are encrypted during transition. Such transactions can be bank transfers or PayPal transactions.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given or you have chosen a password for access to certain parts of our Website or Application, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. And, we urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Website like Pray Together, comments sections or message boards. a) Only Faith Alive Church staff, volunteers and business partners that need to see the data can access it.

e) Any paper files that hold personal information (other than names and contact details) are kept on secure premises in locked cupboards and filing cabinets.

If you choose not to allow the Application to gather such information, you have the option, to manually enter a zip code.

Are Children Allowed to Use our Site?
